The M9501 and M9502 modules are subassemblies for integration into Kiosks, POS terminals, EFT terminals, or vending/gaming machines. By supporting both magnetic stripes and IC cards via a single insertion slot, these modules provide an ideal migration solution for user activated devices. With its simple and reliable motorized card feeding mechanism, the M950x series provide a simple. ATM-like user interface in a small footprint assembly.

The M950x series device can handle both synchronous and asynchronous (T=0, T=1) types of card in accordance with the ISO 7816-1, 2 and 3 standards. For magnetic card, the M950x series read single, dual, or triple track information in accordance to ISO 7811 Standard. In addition, M9502 can encode the data on any or all magnetic stripes. Interfaces are provided for either TTL levels or RS-232C connections.
