The P85 series is a family of hybrid readers, supporting co-existence of smart card and magnetic card processing and providing TTL level output signal.

 

For Magnetic stripe card, P85 can be configured to read up to triple tracks of magnetic stripe data in accordance to ISO7811. For Smart card, P85 provides the landing type of contact to access the smart card, is with latching mechanism to secure the card during communication with the smart card.

 

With the Mounting bezel made of engineering plastics, the P85 series is a subassembly without covers, for integration in other units, such as Kiosks, PIN pads, POS terminals, vending/gaming machine, etc.
